Partner Profile: Jinjiang Special Education School
Jinjiang Special Education School (晋江市特殊教育学校) is located in Jinjiang, a city under the administration of Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China. The school provides education, rehabilitation, daily-living support, and vocational training for children and young people with disabilities, with a significant focus on students on the autism spectrum.
What Jinjiang Gains from the Partnership with SIMC
Since 2025, Jinjiang Special Education School has benefited from a close partnership with Swiss International Medical Center SA (SIMC), gaining access to Swiss expertise, training methods, and decades of practical experience in vocational education for people with autism and other disabilities. Through SIMC, the school has been able to send its Principal, and specialized teachers to train directly at CFPS Le Repuis in Switzerland, bring Swiss-developed vocational training models back to Jinjiang, and jointly establish a dedicated demonstration center for autism vocational education and employment guidance in Quanzhou.

Current Vocational Training Offered
With SIMC’s support, Jinjiang Special Education School currently offers vocational training for its students in the following areas:

- Kitchen
- Car washing
- Protected workshop
Jinjiang Autism Vocational Education and Employment Guidance Demonstration Center
On March 11, 2025, SIMC and Jinjiang Special Education School formally signed a contract to jointly establish the Jinjiang Autism Vocational Education and Employment Guidance Demonstration Center in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. The Center is designed to provide specialized vocational training and employment guidance for young people with autism, drawing on SIMC’s decades of experience in this field through its partner center, CFPS Le Repuis, in Switzerland.
