(May 1st, 2024) SIMC – Swiss International Medical Center SA’s CEO Philippe Zwahlen and Beibei Ao traveled to China to advance the project of building vocational training centers in Fujian Province. They were first welcomed in the city of Quanzhou (population 8.8 million).
During their stay, they visited the specialized school in Jinjiang, one of the potential pilot partners.
Presentations were made to more than 20 Quanzhou Municipal Government leaders who are involved in the welfare of people living with autism, including Mr Li Jianhui, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress. Mr Li is also the former Mayor of the city of Putian, where SIMC’s first pilot project, the Center for Exceptional Children living with Autism (CEC), is located.
They warmly invited SIMC – Swiss International Medical Center SA and its Swiss partner, CFPS Le Repuis to support Quanzhou in its quest to provide international level services for young people living with autism.
